Moving Day

So the West family is taking the plunge and moving to Winston Salem sometime within the next two weeks! I am super excited about being closer to our 1.21 family and a few other stay at home mommies. We are excited about being in a house and hopefully we will be there longer than a year! We have moved 3 times since being married and I moved every year in college. Needless to say, it's getting old.

We are praying for job opportunities for Craig in the WS area so that he doesn't have to commute back to Greensboro for UPS and Proehlific Park. A single full time job would be marvelous...anything would be better than the schedule he is working right now. He is spread pretty thin, but has chosen to work two jobs so that I can stay at home with Speirs. I have loved staying at home with the baby and am thankful that he has allowed me to do so!

Grammi's Photo Shoot

My mom came up this past weekend to visit, which worked out nicely so that I could help at 1.21's workday at the new building. Anyhow, she bought a really sick camera this summer at the knowledge of having two grandkids, which we got to play with some on Saturday night. And although having a great camera is....well....great, that doesn't exactly ensure that you will have really GREAT pictures. We are no Katherine Fallis:) Buut here are some of the ones that we did take that I thought were pretty good. And in case you were wondering...they are all of Speirs.

Now and Then

Now...Christmas 2008
And then.....The grandkids at Jamie and Bridget's wedding in February 2006, with baby Devin on the way!

We've changed so much.

New Pics of Speirs

Speirs is now just over two months old, which is kind of hard to believe. He changes every day and I love that he is smiling and starting to "talk" with us! I have absolutely loved being at home with him!

Christmas Time

I love getting together with family over Christmas time. It's not about the presents, I really just enjoy my family and time spent with them. This year was extra special with Speirs around and the anticipation of my niece Presley Loreli Cuellar:) Im so glad that next year they will both be able to crawl around a little bit and hopefully Speirs will be walking by then (mothers I havent checked the "developmental stages" yet, give me a break). This year was a lot of admiring Speirs sleep and trying to get him to stop crying...boy, did he ever cry. Must have been all of the excitement.

We traveled to Swansboro on Christmas Eve day and left on Christmas day to spend time with family in Clement, NC. We certainly put some miles on the car but it was worth it! Here are some pics from Swansboro!

From Top to Bottom:

Craig and I on Christmas day...note: Speirs is not with us because he is being paraded around:)

All of the grandchildren and great grandchildren...we are certainly growing! As you can tell there were about 16 cameras flashing and all of us weren't looking at the same one!

Grandma loving on her two great grandchildren: Devin and Speirs

The growing Cuellar and West families...as you can see Presley is still in the oven. By the way, for those of you who don't know my brother...Presley is named after THE Elvis Presley.

And Finally...I just thought this one was funny.
