Food

Speirs loves to eat. Enough said...just check out his "fluffy" cheeks.

True Community

I don't think that I have experienced or felt true community as I have these past couple of weeks with my friends and family at 1.21. God has poured out His grace over the relationships that exist within the friends of 1.21 and I am rejoicing in what Jesus is doing!

I realized how blessed I have been, living in Winston and being a part of 1.21 when my good friend Brooke (also the pastor's wife) gave birth to their fourth child last Friday. Their precious baby girl, Madelyn Joy, was six weeks early so she has been in NICU. Her life has been bathed in prayer and just to see and be with our 1.21 family during this time has brought me such joy. Christ is so good. Madelyn should be home soon and I am looking forward to seeing her grow up!

Also, we had partners night for 1.21 and seeing where God has brought the church is amazing. We are praising Him for what he has done, and trusting Him and thanking Him for what will be done in this city.

Joggers for Jugs

Today Craig and I had the opportunity to participate in the Race for the Cure in Winston with some friends of ours from Greensboro, Dan,Vanessa and Erin. There wasn't much racing going on on my end, Vanessa and I walked, pushed Speirs and talked, while Dan and Craig ran, but it was still fun! There are so many people who have been affected by Breast Cancer. Vanessa's mom is a survivor who we participated in honor of today. I must say, I loved seeing all of the people walking and running!

As a side note, I think that the Bullard family should get a team together in memory of Grandma Bea....We could have t-shirts made and it could become a new family tradition. I think this could go even better than kickball at Easter:)!
...the men miiiight still be able to walk the next day!!

Because it's hilarious...

I thought I would share this pic with you. Check out this surprise Speirs left us while we were out the other day. Those of you who know me...know that I didn't have diapers, wipes, or a change of clothes:)

Push ups and Log rolls

Speirs is sooo close to rolling over. We are looking forward to that fun milestone!

Hike In Boone

A few weekends ago, Craig and I took a trip to Boone for a night. We were able to spend time with friends, take a short hike to Linville Gorge, and eat at The Black Cat a sweet little burrito joint. Speirs did great on his first hike. He stayed awake while strapped to daddy's chest.
